Sanitation systems are crucial for protecting human health and advancing development, preventing the spread of disease, and safeguarding the environment. To mark World Toilet Day, we invite you to a morning seminar exploring why sanitation systems matter.
The discussion will connect public health, governance, sustainable development, antimicrobial resistance and climate pressures, highlighting the value of sanitation systems for people, society and the environment in different contexts, and how we can share knowledge and learn from each other’s experiences.
