Welcome to Building Synergies in Sustainable Blue Economy Projects.
Join us for a hybrid seminar exploring the latest developments in marine biorefineries! The seminar will bring together researchers to share insights and experiences from ongoing projects within the Sustainable Blue Economy Partnership. Through presentations and a panel discussion, we will explore how marine-based innovations can move from research towards viable and scalable solutions.
Whether you are working in marine research, blue economy, sustainability, innovation, or simply interested in the future of sustainable marine industries, we look forward to welcoming you!
You can either join us at Teknikringen 43 or by Zoom!
The seminar will feature insights from SEAREFINERY, SEAFOODTURE, and BLUEWAYSE. SEAREFINERY is developing an adaptative marine biorefinery platform to valorize marine biomass and fish waste into sustainable blue food, blue feed, and blue packaging products. SEAFOODTURE aims to valorize seaweeds by developing seaweed-based food products through green technologies alongside bio-based packaging materials. BLUEWAYSE aims to advance solutions to improve aquaculture wastes into high value food and feed ingredients. Each project will present key insights from their research and synergies needed to shape the future of marine-based value chains.
